The Liberty Chamber is proud to recognize the Clay County Sheriff’s Office as our Business of the Month.
Founded in 1822, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office is committed to providing a safe environment for all who live, work, and play in Clay County. Under the leadership of Sheriff Will Akin, the organization serves our community through patrol, investigations, detention services, emergency management, community outreach, and numerous public safety programs. Guided by its mission to “Embrace Change… Create Value… Inspire Others,” the Sheriff’s Office demonstrates a strong commitment to professionalism, service, and community engagement while protecting the lives, property, and rights of those they serve.
